Hi,
i was wondering if anybody knew of any rehoming/rescue centres were i could adopt a small pedigree dog.
If you could get back to me this would be great

What breed were you interested in? Why does it have to pedigree? If you get a rehomed dog, even kc registered, then they will not let you breed it.

blossom: erm- I dont think we should assume that someone wants to breed and jump on new posters like this. Perhaps they want a pedigree because they want to rescue a certain breed. there are plenty of pedigrees in rescue sadly, and not everyone wants to breed just because they want a pedigree.

Do you mean to adopt as "take in as your own" OR do you mean adopt as "accept the responsibility of the maintenance of whilst the small pedigree dog is in a rescue centre"?

Hi Claire, a good way to start is to contact the breed club (find contact details on this site - search) of the breed you would like - they usually have connections to rescue for their breed.
