Hi,
Please can anyone help us!!!
We have an 8 month old Female Border Collie and we have house trained her really well, she is a very smart girl!
When she get's excited and greets people (even when we come home) she alway's wee wee's!!!!
We understand that this is quite normal and we have never told her off for this and we make sure she greet's people and us outside in the garden!!!! BUT now she is just weeing everywhere!!!. In the house in the car, in fact anywhere except the garden!!!! taking her for walk's or for a run around the park!!!
She has never wee weed when taking her out anywhere even on longer trips she has alway's waited until she get's back home, we have always encouraged her to have a wee outside but to no avail.
When it rain's she won't even go for a wee outside!!!! she will play with the ball in the rain or go for walk's but she won't pee in the rain!!,
It is driving my Husband and I to despair as we don't know what else we can to!!!
We alway's praise her when she has weed outside but what can we do????.
We would be most grateful for any kind of advice you can give us, we will try anything!!!!.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Many Thanks
Mrs D Tuck
In the house, in the car and we don't know what to do!!!

Hi before you start anything take her for a check up with your vet if she is fine then you can start to do some thing there are herbs you can use to help her but see what your vet says. Jackie :-)

If your dog is house trained but then begins to wee wee everywhere. I would take her to the vet for a check up, it could be that she has a bladder infection. If this is the case it can probably be cleared up with antibiotics.
Good Luck
Dont' panic ;)
Ensure you are using a biological cleaner or special animal cleaner and not disinfectant to clean up, or the ammonia in the disinfectant will smell like urine and confuse her.
Def. take her for a check up. You are reacting fine to her weeing so far - maybe also go back to basics a bit, so actually take her out after sleep, play and meals, and give her a piece of sausage as she wees. YOu may find this does the trick and she can't wait to go outside. Use a word too, such as "quickie" to tell her what you want :)
