Last night Molly my Westie was breathing really heavy - sort of panting, it got so bad that she could not even sleep. It was a little bit like when they are really really hot, but it was not especially hot, she also drank almost a full bowl of water. She is fine today so not sure what to do ? Any idea's ?

I would get her to the vets to be checked over. She may well be OK now but it is wise to see if she does have something wrong. Let us know how you get on.
