Are solid white min schnauzers able to be registered with the akc? I have been told they could get full registration but cannot be shown. Any help on this topic would be appreciated.

Sorry I don't know about the AKC, in the UK you can register and show, but as you are aware, not being a recognised colour they would be unlikely to win. Also don't know if the young may be silver and the pepper colouring will come in as the dog grows up. Not a good deal of use to you really.

If you go to the AKC web site and check the breed standard for mini schnauzer it will give you the correct colors. However, a dog does not have to conform to the breed standard in order to be registered. All registration does is confirm that it's parents and grandparents, etc, were registered and are pure breds.

So, you can get full registration for a white min schnauzer. Or even a pink one :[-)
