please could anyone point me in the right direction to find a good breeder of german shepherd dogs?I have been looking for ages and want a really large male long haired with an excellent temperament preferably white or light sable thanks.

I know of a litter that is due in Aug in Bristol. Sire is very large, white long coat with excellent black pigment. I can give you the breeders website address if you email me. My eldest is from this sire and he stands at 29" to the shoulder.

Well, you do have a bit of a problem, the colour is noticable at birth and I would have thought that the experianced breeder would be able to guess the sort of length the coat may be, the temperament is suggested whilst the pup is in the nest but there is no positive way to know and as to the adult weight, well that is in the lap of the Gods. Can only suggest that you buy a pup from two oversize dogs who are white with long hair and who seem to have a good temperament. Can anyone help, do you know of someone who breeds from such animals. OH, I would make sure that the dam & sire are hipscored and that the scores are good, big dogs need good hips.
