Hi - this question is for those who work from home or bring dogs to work/spend time on PCs.
I now bring my 14 month old corgi to the office on Mondays and work from home [once a week]. On the other week days he has the company of husband, or in-laws and/ or a friend who has dogs.
I have to spend a lot of time at the computer. Everyone in the office loves the dog so I am lucky with that. There are about 15 people here with some people in offices like me and some in open plan.
Every day on average he gets a 40 min trotty walk at 6.30 am then 1-2 hr midday exploring walk then 25 min night time walk. On Mondays the midday walk is not great as it involves 2 x 30 min walks at 11am and 4 pm around the ok sized grassy square, so we use that time to play ball, train, herd pigeons and hopefully meet other dogs.
While we are in the office he lies down and either sleeps or puts his head on his paws and stares at me for long spells. I give him chews and toys but he doesn't seem that interested. I also talk to him and have a play about once an hour. He might also occasionally wander around the office saying hello to people. What do your dogs do when you are working and how much exercise do they get?
EDITED - he is not a clingy or pushy dog at home but in the office he is rather clingy. I am not sure why there is such a change in behaviour.
thanks
