i would like information on breeders of pugs and miniature bull terriers in uk and
europe. I live in India and would like to import a pair of both the above mentioned breeds

I am a little concerned about the ability of a pug to live happily in such a hot climate - do you have many over their? My own pugs managed to get through our few hot days in the North of England this summer, with temp. in the low 70F, I thinnnk they could get severly distressed in the extreme heat in India. My dogs have electric fans and ice packs at shows on warm English days, to keep them comfortable. They would probably have to remain in air conditioned buildings all the time in your heat just to be able to breathe comfortably. I honestly think your best course, if you are determined to find a pug, is to obtain one bred in India ( or somewhere with a similar climate) to minimise potential health risks.

One of our pugs went to Malta last December, enabling him to acclimatice to the Maltese climate over the mild winter and spring, he has apparently coped beautifully, but a more extreme climate would be distressing for such a short nosed breed from a temperate climate.
