does anybody else have problems with their dog when its raining. he cries because he doesnt want to go out, he almost sits there with his legs crossed. i think he may be a bit pampered too, because he doesnt like going out when its really dark, he is almost like a shadow when we take him out looking up at us for reassurance. its quite strange really he looks like a tough dog but is really very soft

Yes! Well, I used to..she knows to go out in it now. it rains so much she has n other choice! She used to go to the back door, realise it was raining, lookat me and then run back in as fast as she could...I left her out in it for a while and I went out too so then she started going, then I left her out alone, and now she goes out whatever the weather...

i open the door for him and as soon as he sees the rain he starts walking in slow motion, it is quite funny to see. sometimes if he hears the rain, he will jump up on the sofa and put his head under the cushion. he is quite a character.

Is this your Staffy ??
Gus wasnt too keen when he was younger but will *reluctantly* go out now in the rain but you can see his little brain ticking over as though to say "hmmm, you know I dont like this wet stuff" :)

this is soo amusing getting to hear about the antics of your dogs. As a newbie (been memeber for 3 days now) am getting to remember people's names and their dogs..almost as if I know you.
Think I spend too much time on here??? :-)
Steph xx

Steph, you'll know you spend too much time on here when you're not really looking forward to going on holiday because you won't be able to get to a computer for
7 whole days!!!

:D

What
were you thinking of when you booked a TENT with NO INTERNET ACCESS

Call that a holiday? You'll be a nervous wreck by the time you get back! ;) :D :D

It's a
new tent and we've
bought it. It's 7 1/2 feet high and 22 feet long. I only do girly camping now. We're taking lots of books, scrabble, jenga etc. I mean, have you
seen the weather forecast?
Next Monday evening, prepare for a stir-crazy, damp, slightly pongy madwoman demanding to know all the gossip, scandal, and general I-don't-know-what from you all.............
PS. I'll be the one gibbering.......
Quite common. I carried them out in it as pups and made them go anyway. Sometimes I did break down and use an umbrella (over them not me:( ) Now they look at me pitifully but they know the faster they do it the faster they come back in.
