Has anyone else out there got strange emails re: Virus warning from Kenny Mackin. Just seen it on my unopened list. Also spotted same email warning at work last night. Was burned once before with dreaded email virus which wiped out my computer. Virus attached itself to address list and sent itself to all on the list.
Like i say hope i'm allowed to post this even if just to warn you all.

A hoax virus warning sent to a multitude of users can do almost the same damage as a mass mailing worm ;) You can always check whether a warning is true or hoax by going to Symantec where they list all known virus threats.

Anything else you can type into Google.com and it will often tell you if it is a hoax :)

Dowload AVG a very good free virus checker and keep it up to date daily and you will have very few problems

Yep found the culprit. Friend of mine doing the same thing by just warning me. Emailed me back to say it was nothing to worry about. I should have realised cause i've got Virus checker software!.
