Hi All,
Has anyone adopted a dog who was a puppy mill rescue? I am thinking of this option and wanted some input. I know they have issues but I feel they need homes too. The breeder I got my puppy from had done rescue's and had kept one that had been in a 5x5 cage for the first 5 years of her life. She had the mange along with other problems but was now beautiful and healthy and the sweetest dog you'd ever want to meet(I wanted to take her home along with my new puppy).
So, I'd appreciate any input before I undertake this adventure;0.\

If it is a rescue then I don't see why not, as long as u think u can put all the time, patience, money to bring the lil rescue around. :)

If u are buying from a puppy mill I say No because that just encourages them to breed more....Check out the puppy mill in breeders.

ttfn :)

No, I would never buy from a puppy mill or even pet store now knowing what I now know how they are kept and how they are treated:(. I was talking about the web site "puppymillrescue" that rescue dogs from puppy mills and now need homes.
