Topic Dog Boards / Showing / SBT white mark on muzzle?
- By Bo son [gb] Date 23.07.03 08:56 UTC
Hi,

Bosun is now six months old and the prospect of showing him is looming on the horizon, he is finally starting to fill out, and although he still looks 'girly' he is sooo cute with it... I went to the Potteries show last weekend, and all the pups there were so musclely. they are like 'Arnie' with Bosun being a 'Frank Spencer' :-)

But he still has a small white mark just to the left and below his nose, when we collected him at 8 weeks it was a lot bigger and the inside of his nostril was white too, but as he's got older it has faded and reduced in size, its now about one cm long.

Will this be a fault if we show him???

Debbie
believe me you havent seen the muscely dogs yet - the were pretty ok at the Potteries .
If the white mark is on his coat it is nothing to worry about but if his nose itself has white pigment on it can be classed as a fault .

Hi Debbie,

As Lesley has said not a fault if it's on his coat.

And I agree with Lesley no Muscely dogs at the Potteries. I didn't see you there, mind you I don't know what you look like ;).

Good luck at the show. If your not sure about the white mark ask at the ringcraft club.
