I lost a chow mix named A.C. last year I know your pain. A.C. died of heatsroke, but we still have the pups from her first litter, Cocoa and Ginger. My heart and the one that we lost in A.C.'s first litter that had Cocoa and Ginger in it is with you. Little un-named and his mom A.C. have crossed the Rainbow Bridge.

Hi tanni, have been trying to post for ages. I am very sorry about the loss of Hamble, she sounded such a sweetie. My little Lascaux lost his mum too and I cry sometimes for him even though I never got to meet her. It is nice you are getting another pup from your breeder as this will be a lovely memory...

Dear Tanni
Its Jolene here, I have been trying to post on here but couldn-t get on anyway I am here now, I know I have posted on the other board, but I still cannot stop thinking of you and what you must be going through, my thoughts are with you and if you ever need anyone to talk to then you know where I am. Sounds like the breeder has been wonderful to you and like you said at least it gives you something to look to the future for. You must not blame yourself Tanni, we all know what good care you were taking of her, you were on here worrying about her at various times, asking for advice, sometimes these things just happen.
Kindest Regards
Jolene

thankyou jolene. i spent the last week sitting in the kitchen handfeeding her an sponging her down. my husband was sleeping downstairs with her. we took her to the vet on the monday and she said her heart was fine and it was the heat getting to her. i tried every food on here that people suggested. we had decided on the thursday to take her to the vet the next day an tell him to deliver the pups come what may. but she died on the thursday night. my breeder told me that with large litters he often has them delivered a few days early....but i wasnt to know. its the guilt thats tearing me apart at the moment....wobdering if i could have saved her if i had demanded on the monday that they do something for her. my breeder hAS been fantastic though....they know we are totally committed to the breed and thats why they have offered us a puppy in a few months even though they are not hambles breeder but reefs. again i would like to thank everyone for their messages and poems. i will carry on and breed again....

This is a poem I made for you Tanni.
When I heard God's call, I could not resist, the call was to strong.
I ran up to him, the puppies that died with me following, yipping.
I will miss the hugs and kisses I got, the ones my pups will never know.
I came opon many dogs, two black ones walked up, A.C. and unamed.
These two showed me how this place is, I hope you get this message,
the one in a bottle, as I fly with milk white jade wings, I want you to know...
( I love you) From: Hamble

So sorry to hear of your loss, I have heard of so many people loosing their bitches in whelp I feel we should all be very grateful that people are prepared to try and breed from their beloved bitches. My thoughts are with you, I very nearly lost my bitch in whelp and I know how you are feeling. Hope you come to terms with it before too long, hugs to you.
