The rules say you must be respectable meaning modest. but short are OK if they are not too short. In pratice it is best to dress to show your dog off best, do not wear black if you show a black dog of white with a white one. Don't flap too much or have a skirt that blows across the dogs head just when the judge comes to check his expresion. Neat and tidy is the best way, but clean jeans and a shirt are fine. Just be moderate in all things and you should be fine.

Was anyone at Chepstow (South Wales) last year, watching Mastiffs, I think, - the Rottie Judge in the next ring had to stop judging so that everyone could enjoy the view of a pink (almost tan coloured) short shorts & tank top set of an exhibitor (she certainly don't carry a lot of coat was one comment :D :D). Like a lot of the males, Al's eyes were hitting his glasses!
(Don't know whether she won her class or not!)
