I am wondering if any one can help me? do you have a copy of an uptodate KC labrador breed database? or a recent copy of the breeds supplement (gundogs) or a recent copy of the kennel gazette, anything that will show hipscores of labradors.
20 mths ago i bred a litter of labradors, my boss at the time had one of the pups, i knew that she was to be a brood bitch, i have since changed employment, and as i now work for one of me previous employers customers i left not in everyones good books, i asked at the time of leaving and several times since if my pup had had her hips scored as i would like to know what they are, i have been told everytime that she hasnt had her hips scored yet, but i find it hard to believe as she is the only one left to have her hips scored, even bitches that are younger than her have been scored, i am wondering whether she has had them done and they are not saying what they are, i know that she doesnt have to tell me, but if i was to have someone else ask as if they were having a pup from her then they would obviously tell them as this wont be for a while i am even more curious.
hope this all makes sense, and if any one can help me and can give the details of the bitch, but i have lost some paperwork due to decorating an d chewy pups, so the only piece of info that i dont have is the KC reg number

What is the pedigree name of the bitch and I will look in the breed record supplement for you.

Hip scores are a matter of public record, so ytou should be able to get the score by ringing the Kennel club with the Bitch's registered name.

I have done this in the past when considering a stud dog, so that I could find out the score before approaching the owner to save embarrasment if the score was higher than I would use.

Unless it has changed the KC breed databases do not include useful things such as hip scores.

You can however buy all the scored and reported dogs from the KC. I was very disappointed when I bought the Dobe one to find that I had more results than they did due to their computer changes!
