Can anyone recommend a good basic book as a guide to showing? I am hoping to get my first bullmastiff soon and am interested in showing her. I have details of local ringcraft classes but would like to read up on showing so that I have a little knowledge to start from. Thanks, Sam.

I will try and give you all the help i can, as it's going to be one of my puppies out there in the big ring. Glad to see you have found a class to take puppy to, have you been along to watch? Just to get an idea what goes on. It might be worth it.
Just to let you know, i have started to try and get the puppies standing, which at this age is easier said than done, but as it is only you and me showing i only have 2 to do though i am doing one of the boys as well in the hope that i might be albe to persuade whoever takes him, to show him.
