hes just jumped in the other halfs mums pond and god does he smell. Hes 11wks old boxer whats the best thing to bath him in? ive never bathed a dog before any tips or hints...

I'd just wash him off with a cloth and some tepid water outside - i probably wouldn't bath him :)

If you feel you HAVE to bath him use either puppy shampoo or Johnsons baby shampoo which is light and mild . I have heard of people using babywipes to rub them down with :)
Make sure you dry in all thelittle nooks and crannies Em if you do bathe him
Must admit Gus is a bit smelly this week and he hasnt even been in any water

thanks for the advice i popped him in the shower yeaterday evening so he smells much better and he really enjoyed it. Now we have another problem now when we are in the shower he likes to join us, fine but at 6.30am causes a right noise. he wines to get in the bathroom and when my daughter showers she does not lock the door (no window to escape out of incase she gets locked in). We had to turf him out of the bath three times this morning. Bless him.
