Enjoy her Craig but be firm and consistant with her from day one :D.
Staffys are brilliant dogs with lots of character but they can be very nosey and inquisitive so keep an eye on her all th time.
Socialize her ALOT as soon as you can , introducing her to lots of diferent situations , people , dogs and animals . Staffys absolutely adore people and children especially but they have to be taught not to jump up ( whch they do and when they are adult they are very heavy and strong - believe me :) )
You can buy an excellent book called The Pet Owners Guide to the Staffordshire Bull Terrier by Clare Lee which tells you how to get ready for pup . How to make the house puppy proof etc- how to check the garden is secure as lots go missing either by escaping themselves or people takng them . I could write pages and pages on Staffys so if there is anything in particular you would like advice on please mail me at mckyjo@aol.com and I will be only too happy to help . :D
Are you going to show pup ? What are you going to call her and what colour is she ? Might sound nosey but they are my favourite breed :)
Good luck
Lesley
