Just wanted to know who your fav. or worst actors are?
My fav. has to be John Ritter. Fell in love with him as a very young child when he was in the Walton's and have loved him since. Unfortunately due to living in England and not having satelite TV etc. don't get to see him very often and when I do they're films that have been on hundreds of times before.
Worst actor (no I'm not trying to cause trouble!!) Sean Connery. I was so relieved when he won the award the other week for worst accent. let's face it an actor is supposed to fit into the characther that they are portraying and unfortunately, when some is supposed to be Irish, Russian, American or whatever and still has the strongest Scottish accent going he doesn't really excite me. I pref. his son when he was, I think, Robin Hood. Much better looking than his dad too.
It's a good job that we all have different tastes though, I suppose :d:
Edited. boy my spelling is terrible today!!
My favourite actor, well one of them, has to be Alan Rickman.
Worst actor.....no problem here...........Tony Blair :D :D

Must admit I love Robert De Niro and Al Pacino .
Must admit I dont like Jim Carey :(
Hi Lel
Me.... controversial.....never :) I can honestly say I have no interest in Politics, but old hand-wringing, attempting sincere look, jacket off, Tony Blair gets my Ham Actor of the Year Award :)
Apologies to Tony's fans.

Worst - Russell Crowe (too up himself) and Harvey Keitel (too scary!), oh and that scary bloke that did The Hitchhiker
Hayley
Do you mean Rutger Hauer, who was in the Hitchhiker??
Mmmmm, now I think he's lurvly :D
liberty
Worst actors - must be most of the cast of Coronation St. and Eastenders
Best - can't think of his name but starred in 'I, Claudius' some years ago
How about worst singer - Ronan Keating!
Lorna

Derek Jacobi?
That's him Melody, I think some of the posters are going for looks rather than acting ability.

Thanks Helen, that't the one! I know it wasn't his best, but it was really strangely comical! I just find his voice very sexy!

Sorry Helen, can't understand the Joe Pesci thing, but he was brilliant in My Cousin Vinny!
I'd totally forgotten about Patrick, and one of my all time fave films is Dirty Dancing, how many times have I wished to be in Jennifer Grey's shoes
Hayley
Should also mention the guy who plays Luka in ER, I'm sure he must have been in some films, and he is reaaaaally tasty!

Fav actor & I'm being very shallow and it's all aesthetics....Dolph Lungren in Masters of the Universe (wow!). I like Cary Grant as an actor, well he was in some good films.
Worst...well where do I start ? Burt Reynolds, Jim Carrey (Who basically plays himself in everyone of his films), Clint Eastwood, Jack Nicholson...plenty more where those came from.

I do quite like Ray Liotta too although not sure why
Lel
Wasn't Ray Liotta in that film with Meg Ryan as the alcoholic, he was lovely in that, and he was good in Evita (if that was him?!)

wasn't that Dennis Quaid, and Antonia Banderas??? :) Ray Liotta was brilliant in Good Fellas, and was also in the awful Hannibal...

I must admit Cary Grant was one of my favourites too!! Geoff Goldbloom, although not attractive as such does have something going for him. Really enjoyed him on Graham Norton's show Geoff that is not Cary:D :D (sorry, couldn't resist, it's bedtime!!)

Hmm - favourite actor is a bit tough...so my favourite scene has to be Keanu Reeves in Matrix when he goes into the building foyer and wastes all the security guards. Or, in Sharpe, when Sean Bean kicks the door down to get to his laydee. Phwoooar.
Worst actress? Gotta be Elizabeth Hurley - absolutely rubbish.

HHHmmmm fave actor has to be eric roberts, richard gere, anything with them in and i am instantly glued to the tele, i dont really have any worst actors, i just dont watch it if it isnt a very good film.

Yes, got to agree...l LOVE that scene, even though being just girlies I'm sure we're not supposed to! Al Pacino,De Niro, especially in Heat, and there's something about Anthony Hopkins, even as Hannibal, it must be his voice, although Russell Crowe in Gladiator was enough to make you go weak at the knees...
Adore Keanu in Matrix films , but got to be the worse actor in all his other films...and yes, Hurley makes me hurl(ouch..) can't believe she still keeps getting parts..oooh, and what about Tom Cruise in Minority Report and Interview with a Vampire, in which Brad Pitt also gave a superb performance.....:)

Ok, right.
Any film starring Cary Grant is going to be good. Likewise James Stewart. Tom Hanks is from the same mould, but blurred.
UK wise, Sean Bean is mine, so hands off, girls!!
:) Sean Bean , yours, that's fightin' talk JG :)
Choose your weapon............... :D

Er, o.k. if you have Burberry, and I have Mulberry. We won't clash :D

Is Aragorn the rough and ready looking one ( dark hair and beard ) . If its him you re on about then have to agree :D :D
Phoooaaaaarrrrrr he is really handsome !! Spent half the film just drooling .
Vin Diesel is also nice although I'm not really in to muscley men but I like his cheeky sense of humour ( o go on then , and those HUUUUGGGGE muscles )
Now I'm all hot and bothered and I'm not so sure its all down to the Sunshine :D :D :D

if we are going for actual acting and not looks then james cagney does it for me. who saw *angels with dirty faces* when they were taking him to the electric chair. gives me goose bumps thinking about it.and all those fantastic musicals he did. *sighs*.

Talking about musical actors, one of my all time fav's. was Danny Kaye!!! Who'd believe that I'm only 32, I was born in the wrong era, I'm sure!!!

Yes, that's him Lel, ...not sure about Vin, but he's got something, and agree about the muscle thing. Do any women actually like muscles?....
By Carla
Date 14.07.03 22:04 UTC
I don't like body building muscles - just a nice tone - and a nicely tones back is lovely... :) And, of course...tattoos and a pierced nipple finishes off the effect lol

Helen,
So sorry you had it so hard with your family. Thought mine were bad. My three brothers all loved my ex, so it was just my dad and the rest of the world....but as you say, you had the last laugh, and I bet your kids are gorgeous, and most of all happy and loved. So sad that your lovely gran has to suffer. I admire you for being so strong. I adore curried goat, and have just learnt to cook ackee and salt fish. My fave of all has to be fried plantain. Have it with everything, and it's nice for my youngest twins, who have a mixed brother and sister, to be brought up with a variety of cultures. They funnily enough call my ex "Phil dad", and chase after every black guy in the street, calling his name. Have to explain quickly what they're on about!!
Bobo xx
