I would like a cairn terrier pup (bitch) as a pet. Good with childern any colour. I would be really gratfull if you could email me back with any information about the breed.

Please go to the KC website and click on the Discover Dogs Page, Terriers and then Cairn Terriers. At the bottom of that page there is a list of breed clubs who will be able to advise you. When buying a dog you must be aware of the risk that one runs of encouraging the puppy farming industry, bitches breed too young and every season, living in the most disgusting circumstances and at the end of their breeding lives either being chucked out or a bullet through the head, something all dog lovers deplore. They maybe cheaper or more readily available but by buying one we are being part of the problem. Good luck with your search
