This morning, as usual, we have done the walks - Thor and Beau first, Loki, Vinnie & Gypsy next. As usual, our old girl, Purdey - 13 yrd old lab - comes out on both walks - off the lead - and generally just veers off half way down the lane (we live in the middle of a golf course, and can walk our dogs where there is absolutely no traffic, so its lovely to be able to do this). Today however, she came a little further, bounded into the field of rape - and came out with a rabbit!!

It wasn't dead before she got it - at least it was still warm :( - so we think she actually got up a head of steam and caught it herself!

........maybe I ought to have some of what she is eating - it might give me some more energy!!!

We have always said with her that she will keel over and die in the middle of a walk as she has never sort of understood she should be slowing down and acting like a lady of her advanced years ! Never ! :D

Isn't it good to see the old 'uns bouncing like babies first thing in the mornings! I creak and groan first thing!

Must be something in the air, Bree, my old Goldie (14yr this year) is bouncing around like a spring lamb!! :)

Doubt she's up to catching a rabbit tho :D :D
