I have seen dogs play with ice or eat a little bit of it. Tonight I put ice in my dogs water bowl and she went crazy, eating it like it was treats. I gave her more and she did the same thing, I finally took the bowl away because sometimes she drinks too much water and throws up. Is this normal?

Since when have dogs been 'normal'?! If it works for her - don't worry about it!! It can't do her any harm!

Ok, thank you :) ... I have never seen a dog act like that before (my older dog likes ice too, but more just to play with). Anyway, she is going to the vet today for a test, and I was wondering if this would be something to ask him about (well, I'll ask him anyway just in case) ... but :) thanks!
