After all the posts concerning messing on peoples property thought I'd let you know what happened to me.I was walking my elkhounds a couple of days ago when the younger one cocked his leg up a TRAFFIC CONE.(I do not allow them to pee up private property if at all possible).A young woman approached me and in a very indignant tone said'your dogs just peed up that cone'.Well I was totally dumbstruck-I clean up after my dogs ....I carry bags everywhere. However I didn't know I was suposed to carry a mop and bucket!!LOL.

Hi Archer,
Yees - that's taking it a bit far isn't it! :)
Maybe some Flash express wipes would do the trick - won't be so heavy as a mop and bucket..... :) :) LOL

Friend of mine was in a newsagents when small boy told his Mum he needed the loo and told her and told her but she carried on chatting. So........ he peed into a bundle of newspapers.

Lets all just stick our dogs in Pampers Easy Ups and be done with it.
Oh no, we'd then be contributing to landfill!!! :D

Had the same problem, my dog cocked his leg against a bush, and a woman sitting by went mental. It's unbelievable. I take bags everywhere with me, and clean up after my dogs too..........but flippin' heck, you can only do so much!
I can only think people like this have never owned a dog!!
Take care all

Perhaps its just us English. I was at a roadside cafe in France last year and a woman at another table took her toddler to pee in the big trees in pots near the tables. Nobody bothered at all!!!!

No wonder, have you seen french public loos?
Completely non-dog related, my mum got locked in one once, and the french fire brigade had to get her out...

I have had the same quite a lot, as mine are bitches, and it would seem that many people think all canines cock their leg to pee(well one of my girls often does). I would think with the neat way that they curtsey down, with their tails up over their backs and their black anus showing it should be obvious what they are doing, but no I still have had people tut at me and ask if I am going to clean that up :D

Its unbelieveable isn't it? Have these people ever been present outside a night club on a Saturday night? I don't see these drunks being asked to clean there urine & other debris from the streets!

Always remember seeing painted onto the sides of French churches, not to pee :D French men would come out of church and pee on the wall. Another time we went up a mountain on a train and when we came back, all the men got off the train and stood in a line and peeed into a hedge :)

Totally off topic now, but have you noticed that men love to pee outdoors? A clean loo could be just around the corner and men will choose to pee on a bush.
Stacey

*some* men possibly ...my man wouldn't pee outside unless he HAD to :)
I just look back at them and state 'when you find me a way to clean liquid out of grass then I'll clean it up'! And then point to the bag that is usually attached to the end of my lead and state that if it had been something else can't they see that I'm prepared!
Dog owners not picking up after themselves is one of MY biggest pet peeves - I take serious offence to being accused of being one of them.
Wendy

Here here, as with walking four at a time and passing a pile anyone coming past the other way will naturally assume I am the guilty party.

milo peed on a display of plants that had been arranged around the bar where you tie up dogs in my local supermarket.it was a real extended effort and everyone started laughing, i wasn't going to apologise anyway, it was there stupid fault for putting them there.:)
