Hi i have a 6 month boxer called holly , i've been quite worried about her , her poo's have been quite runny so i did'nt feed her for 24hours and began giving her boiled chicken and rice, how long should i feed this to her for ? she is normally feed pedigree puppy complete with pedigree puppy meat mixed together . Is this to much for her i get so worried about her , but like any puppy or dog owner i want the best for her and to be fit and healthy . It would be great to be given some advice Thanks kirstine .w.

The runny poo could be due to the heat. A lot of dogs get very runny, and your pup has never experienced the heat before. If she seems alright in herself, I would guess that that could well be it.
You did the right thing by starving her for 24 hours and then giving her bland food. This usually sorts it out, but if it hasnt, that would be another clue that its the heat.
I think you are over feeding her however. Puppy complete and puppy meat are 2 different meals. The reason the complete is called "complete" is because it is a complete diet in itself and shouldnt have any extra dog food added. They have balanced out the amount of protein etc in the food, so it should be one or the other. Maybe stick to complete for a while.
