I've been thinking about giving a home to a rescued cocker spaniel. Just wanted to know if there were many needing homes and if my home would be a good place or not? I do work part time and have five cats, but have more love to share. Have average size garden, lots of places to go for walks, but would be first time dog owner. Some advice please - is a rescue dog the right way to go?
