I am about to send off for the ownership of Ollie to be transferred to myself. It asks if I want a Breed Records Supplement and / or an Enhanced 5 Generation Pedigree thing. I know what the last one is but what is the breed records?

The breed record supplement is an "book" listing litters born,transfer of ownership,health scheme results,export of dogs CCawarded etc etc ...I personally think its a good thing
but then I am a nosey devil.
The KC on produce it 4 times a year and the currant one is June to September so you should get it around Mid September

Please note that Carolyn said "should" !!!! Although I must admit they are getting faster at sending them out.

I thought they were getting slower again, Christine - when they had their major 'blip' sorted last year, we were getting them 2 weeks after cut-off for a while, is now stretching out to 6 weeks again.

Was really offended when they split Working/Pastoral groups and increased price, as I have interests in both and my subs went up from £8 a year to £40 a year .......... but I'm just so darn nosey, I can't give 'em up. Just waiting for them to reduce price of computer system now, but methinks I might have a long wait.

Yes KC is very slow....... I have been waiting for my breed supplement for 4 years! I ordered it pre paid when i registered my litter & have been on the phone numourous occasions but still haven't received it:(

I don't think I have ever had one at two weeks although the longest was about 10 months - nowhere near the current record of 4 years!

I too was very peeved when they halved the book and increased the price. I would be quite happy to pay (a lot) less and only get one breed as this would save on storage space and be more environmentally friendly as the rest of the book would not then be "wasted".

Except for the fact of saving a lot of typing I was not that impressed with their computer system compared to the one I use. It also has a lot of errors in it unless they have done a lot of correcting over the last few years.

Ordered mine last October when I registered my pup, rang in January and they said it wasn't out yet, rang last week and got it yesterday. Thinking this is spooky coming up on a topic today.
