could anyone help me to find out why my dogs miss their seasons. I have 5 bitches and was told that keeping a pack of dogs prevents regular season, is this true? I have peaple waiting for pups but there are no seasons. My dogs have never had health problems , all are fit and well with plenty of excercise and a well balanced diet of proplan. Their ages range from 14 mths to four years. Are there any herbal remedies?

I always heard that keeping several bitches together will get their seasons to all come at roughly the same time. However whether that works in the domestic environment I have no idea. What does your vet say?

A lot of people have 5 or more bitches and have no trouble. As you have 5 I guess you have bred before so at least some of the bitches are proved. May be something else is the problem are you having fights between some of the bitches or has something changed to upset them.

I have one bitch proved out of five. As for asking if they fight they have the odd pecking order over food but other than that they all get on. What would be the difference if they were fighting all the time apart from having a few arms and legs missing, could it be pshycological.
