Are pink bits on a dogs paws considered a fault? If a puppy has a good tail set and top line at 6wks of age, what are the chances of them keeping it into their adult life?

Don't know about the pink bits but they may well darken anyway, the tail set should not change but the top line will. It may come back to level or it may not.
