we have just taken in a 2yr old collie who is well trained, intelligent and exceedingly loving to all members of the family (including our 4yr old daughter)
however she is also the most noise sensitive dog we have ever had, going mad
from noises such as the iron, bin liners and most of all sticky tape!! this in itself
is tolerable exept that every now and then she will nip the person making the noise on the heel. We have been told that this is a collie thing but are desperate
to try and stop this before she does it to our daughter and destroys her confidence with her. We would be really greatful if anybody could give us any ideas to stop her. my E-Mail addresse is bovadave@bluebird3.fsnet.co.uk many thanks.

There's a great book called "Understanding Border Collies" by Barbara Sykes. She has a website too.

Mine goes for your ankles when you try to answer the phone.
