Topic Dog Boards / General / General advice on over night wee problem

hi,
My siberian had been clean and dry over night for about a month which i know is good as he is only 5 months old now. However he has started to wee on the floor again. I dont tell him off because the backdoor is shut and also i haven't caught him doing it. He is quite shy and won't go into the back garden without me for some reason when its dark. but because i haven't told him off he has started doing it during the day because i think he cant be bothered to do it outside. Has anyone got any advice on how i can stop him from doing his buisness in the house. or should i just be patient with him?
Please help us

My best advice would be to take a couple of steps back with him, and treat him as though he was younger. He's doing very well, and will get to that stage again, but they all have these setbacks. The 'learning curve' is really a series of steps and pitfalls!

I did try to crate him for about 4 weeks but had difficultly sleeping. He really didnt like it i tried everything like putting a blanket over the top etc to try and make it feel a secure place but he absolutly hated it. I gave up!!!
