Staffys are very much people dogs and I would never leave one outside in a kennel . They love their hom comforts , they love people interaction and can be big softys but they also need disipline , plenty of exercise(when old enough) and need to knowwhat behaviour is to be tolerated from a VERY young age and what behaviour isnt . They adore children ( but the children must be taught how to respect a dog).
The majority can be dog aggresive - although my own isnt at present . He is 8 months old . They are very powerful and strong dogs and not really for the novice dog owner .
You do have to be firm with them but they will reward you tenfold with their love and their loyalty .
Always buy from a reputable beeder that is KC registered . Never buy a cross breed . Yes there are lovable crossbeeds out there and I am not condemning them but for the new owner I would advise plenty of research into the lines they come from .I would advise speaking to Staffy owners and get a true feel for the breed .
Any other info , please feel free to contact me .
Hope that helps
