Topic Dog Boards / General / Puppy drooling - Teething???

I have a 14 week old Yorkshire Terrier Puppy who the last few days has had wet hair and whiskers round his mouth apart from this he is in excellent health and appears fine. I noticed when playing with him he is cutting 4 teeth at the top right at the back and inbetween the back and his incisors. I wonder if this is the reason he has such wet chops all of a sudden? I have never had a puppy before so am a novice and a worrier!!

Any help would would be greatfully appreciated!

If he is pawing at his mouth then he may have a loose tooth folded back onto the roof of the mouth. If he is not pawing then I would have thought the drooling is his teeth. It is not usual from them to loose so many at once but it can happen.
