Hi,
I'm finally going to be a MOM! I'm so excited! I've wanted a Skye Terrier for quite a while, but I knew they were well out of my price range because I am on disability. However, the powers that be have smiled on me. There is a 5 yr old Skye Terrier up for adotion in a nearby town and I am going to pick him up tomorrow. All the information that I have on him is that he has been neutered, and he is current on his shots, and he is healthy, and he is house trained, and knows a few tricks.

What is the average life expectancy of this breed? What else can you tell me about the breed? I've read everything I can find.
