Have always had pure border terriers before but have seen a patterdale/border cross who looks very smart. My old Border bitch is great with other dogs and children but I know nothing about Patterdales. Can anyone help please.

Primarilly a working Terrier, sometimes crossed with a Border to reduce the "sharpness" excellent workers in the right hands, often too much for novice pet owners.
