?????????? my min schnauzer bitch is in season i had a mate planned for her but he has taken ill with kennel cough so do not want to use him she has been eye tested kc reg and shown on a few ocassions. does anyone know of a stud dog in the north west area???? getting despaerate now as she is 12 days tomorrow and she is now 3 so dont want to miss again.

I would ask the owner of the dog with Kennel Cough if they can advise of a suitable relative to the chosen dog, or ask the bitch's breeder which male may suit her best.

You don't want just any male, and end up having a litter that isn't as pleasing, better waiting until next season in that case, as you will want time to look into the males background (relatives) to check on health and temperament and type of pups produced to previous bitches.
