My name is Lucas and I just adopted a labrador from the animal shelter and he is 2 months old and he keeps whinning when I am out of his sight. I have a gate to keep him in the kitchen and all he do is whin unless I go stand over him. Does anyone have any idea of what I should do?

He's lonely! He's a baby on his own for the first time in his life. Try keeping him with you till he's settled in with you and feels at home. You can do 'people stuff' when he's having his naps.
