my bitch is due have her pups in 2 weeks. also i have male 7month old she is 3 1/2 year old and second litter i got my boy when he was 6 weeks old. and then they got on really well till about 3 weeks ago now she is really snappy towards him sometimes he goes just to get a drink of water and she has a go at him. sometimes when his playing with ,my children she has a go at him does anyone know why she does this .

Lel wasn't being rude - it's a fact that when females are heavily pregnant (women, dogs, cats, it makes no difference!) they get fed up and tetchy. It's the effect of being permanently tired and uncomfortable and hot, and having raging hormones.
So there's your answer. It wasn't a sarky one!

I'm not sure - there are staffy breeders here though and I am sure someone will be along soon...

My last brood bitch had her first litter on day 65 (the average gestation is 63 days) and her second after 68 days. By which time I was a zombie!

thanks for getting back to me . her first litter she was on 66th day i was like a zombie then to she should be due around the 14th july :)
