I have seen a few brown labs with good eyes and hips in the 110,120 lb range and have heard of some even bigger. most of these dogs came from Alaska and are bred very big with champion lines, where would I go to inquire on these dogs.

Wouldn't bother Brad, way over size and very untypical of the breed, stick to how they should be.

Alaska is an American state so I'll quote the AKC breed standard. Dogs 65 to 80lbs, bitches 55 to 70lbs.

A Labrador of 110 to 120lbs is gross and although it might have a champion in the pedigree there is no way a dog like this would ever get to be a champion unless the judge was blind and had no hands! The Americans are very particular about size and I believe all Labs at show have to go under the measuring stick.
