This might seem a silly question, but when do you use your dog's kennel club name as oppose to his pet name? I have registered my boxer with the vets under his pet name, Dylan, but I have registered his pet insurance under his official kennel club name,Kenmilltri What A Dime. I am now worried that should I ever need to claim, the 2 won't tie up and I'll end up with the insurance company not paying out!

Jo,
No need to worry, just let the insurance company know his pet name as well.
The only times you need to use his KC registered name is if entering him for
open/champ/limit shows/match nights and if you have him health tested for
hearts/hips/eyes etc. As the forms will ask you for this info.
Vets/ companion shows/insurance co's normally just ask for pet name.
Kind Regards
Boxacrazy :)

Thank you! Petplan mis-spelt his name so I have to contact them anyway - I think I will just give his pet name then.
