Hi, I just got chem screen results back for my 2 dogs. My older one
is completely normal, but my little one (8 mos old) has a high bun,
along with a couple other high & lows, but my vet said the bun could
mean a kidney problem because when she was about 3 mos old she had a
bladder infection that took awhile (3 meds) to go away. So, she has
to get another screen in 3 weeks (he said kidney prob in a dog is
rare, but just wants the screen to make sure). I could only talk to
my vet for a minute because I was on break and had to get back to
work. So I was wondering if anyone can tell me what are the
symptoms of a kidney problem? And what would I need to do for her?
Can it be corrected with meds?
