Could anyone tell us how to remove a firewall, we have gone through control panel and eliminated all the security systems and we still cannot access our own computer. Britney 1000 because I cannot get into my own computer

To remove any program go to "Control Panel" and click on "Add or Remove Programs". Once there click on the program to be removed and that is that.

If you cannot get into your computer you may need to boot into "Safe Mode". If that fails then you will need to use a boot disk.

So saying, a firewall should not lock you out. Are you sure that is your problem?

If you are working "Off line" Lynn, if you click on "File" at the top of the screen you will see "Work Offline" will have a tick beside it. Just click on it and the tick will go and you will be working online. The working Offline function can be useful for reading saved internet pages without needing to logon.

Best wishes, John
