Wouldn't a spayed bitch be a more appropiate companion for a dog, after all you wouldn't want to seperate them during seasons if they were companions would you.

As Robert says, if you want a companion for your dog, you won't want to have to keep them separate during her seasons, so a spayed bitch would be the best bet.

If, however, you're trying to get a cheap brood bitch, you're going about it the wrong way....

Yes, It was obvious to me even before I opened the post. If you are looking for a "companion" then of course a spayed bitch would be better. I cant see any reason why you might not want her spayed (actually I can, as dawn said, but...)
Please, DO NOT get a bitch and breed from her without resarching it THOROUGHLY first!!! I cannot stress enough the mess you are going to create by having a litter of pups from a random mother and father.
Maybe you should register then people can give you advise and you can take part in discussions.
