Can any one help and tell me whether I should be concerned that my dog's faeces were a yellowy white this morning?

She seem's absolutely fine in herself but wanted to ask for advice from the forum.

Thanks

hi heidi - i can't really comment as don't have enough experience i'm afraid but someone will be along soon who can help.

one day my pup's stools were green which sent me into panic mode, however on closer inspection (YUCK!) it turned out to be bits of a green scouring pad he had got his grubby little paws on!

We have had a wide range of interesting colours in the past!

She has had rope chew, bits of rubber bone, bits of towel you name it everything in her No.2's!!!

Hopefully someone can help me out.

Cheers

Has she had a bone recently as this will sometimes turn the poo white. It is difficult to tell without looking at it but don't particularily want you to send me some to look at ! :D

If she is fine in everyother way ie bright and alert, drinking, eating and weeing OK then I would't worry.

Lucy,

Ah-ha that might just be the reason. Never noticed it before with a bone but she has just had one.

Thanks for the info, I'll keep an eye on her for the next day or so and hopefully everything will go back to normal :-)

Thanks

Heidi
