hi all just wondering what other cav owners do about grooming ? i send mine to the doggie parlour every couple of onths and they just give them a trim, i keep their ears short aswell (i dont show them so i like to keep their coats short so they dont get full of food !) i got a shock last time tho.....new groomer asked me "do u want it all shaved off!!"thank god she asked tho i had visions of them comming home withh poodle cuts;)

Emma, if you cut about 10" from a pair of tights, and pull it over Cavailers/Cockers heads, it will keep their ears out of the way while they eat. Remove it as soon as they have eaten, and you can have clean ears AND a spaniel with the glorious ears that they are meant to have!!

Please take note of the advice given by'Val' .Cavaliers are supposed to have lovely feathering and long ears.It isn't supposed to be a shorthaired breed
