hi,
Jack is now 16 weeks old, roughly what should his ideal weight be? for his age,
we have seen several boxers locally, but they all seem to be overweight, which i know is a problem with boxers, he is about 13 kg.
I`m just a worried mom

When Star was 5 months she weighed 16kg which is about 36 pounds I think.

I think it really depends on the individual dog/pup.
Don't stress too much as long as they dog is healthy, happy and eating well.
My youngest Boxer (now 2y.o.) was a ribby looking puppy I often worried
about her (it didn't help that at 12 wks old her last litter mate went to her new
home and I lost my golden oldie whom she adored).
Now she's a very healthy 28-30kgs and a tall young lady!
As I show I try to keep my dogs in good condition weight wise and one way
I tell if they are getting too portly is to look down on them when they are standing
up. If they have a good waistline (in their loin area), i.e. inbetween the last rib and the hips I do not worry.
But if you have straight lines from the shoulders to the rear legs and no waistline they are too
heavy and need to lose some weight.
I always have to check as they are always very good at conning extra treats out of me LOL :)

My Boxer pup was weighed last week and he was 15kgs (19weeks old). Hope this helps.
