I have finished the site on hypothetical financial accounts for litters, as well as including some links to other resources, definitions, and an article on To Breed or Not To Breed -- That is the Question. I'm very interested in feedback and would like to include any articles that you might want to provide.
The articles and the entire site is available to any person who wants to include them on their site with the appropriate accreditation.
Please email me if you would like the URL for Let's Talk Breeding.
Thanks for all your help. I hope that it will answer some of the questions we get here about 'whether I should breed'.

Excellent, Sierra - I wonder if we can incorporate it obviously into this site, so would-be breeders can access it easily and obviously - Leigh?......

Champdogs is welcome to absolutely everything I write and put together, Jo. I hope that it is of use and that you have something that you'd like to contribute to it.

well done seirra. i felt worn out after reading it all .it brings back a lot of memories, ive only ever had 3 litters but my first wore me out, the bitch needed a ceasar and lost her milk supply ,i had to bottle feed 3 pups every 2 hours night and day for 5 days until the milk came back in,i was like a zombie,
with a litter due in a fortnight id better make sure ive recharged my battery's!!!
it really brings it home that its not either easy to rear a litter properly or cheap, i think that you have to put in the best you can and it isn't a time to cut corners,
well done again ,-hope it makes some think twice!

Congratulations Sierra. I feel you will get a lot of satisfaction in the year ahead for all that hard work . It is just what is needed to banish the myth that there is money to be made from breeding . mari

Hey admin where are you going to put this valuable resource, it could be expanded with articles about breeding that are of educational benefit, and be the first link people were steared to with breeding queries. save our fingers constantly retyping the same but inadequate advice?! :D
As I said before well done Sierra, what a lot of hard work you have done, and thanks to all those who contributed information, to enable her to get it done!

Right now, Barbara, the site is not going to be available to anyone for inclusion on their sites. I'm having a very hard think about why I do things and will continue to work on the site, though it is probably going to move to its own domain as it grows from the contributions of others. Danioak Great Danes has contributed a good deal of material that I am currently formatting for inclusion and the site is being send through her and other breeders to people they know for possible contributions. I hope that there will be those from Champdogs who also wish to include their writings on their breeds and on breeding. I certainly appreciate your offer of contribution.
Hopefully we'll talk soon. Currently, I think my holiday time should have been spent in other pursuits.
