Topic Dog Boards / Health / Problem ?
- By OZWOZ [gb] Date 24.06.03 06:51 UTC
I have a Weimaraner dog aged 7 months, and yesterday noticed a yellowy green coloured discharge from his privates. Could anyone tell me if this is anything I should be taking him to the vets for please.

Thanks
Dave

Dave,

Yellow green coloured discharge can be a sign of infection. A trip to the vet would be advised. You do not say what private bit the discharge came frame, but it could be nothing more than your dog needing his anal glands expressed or he is coming into sexual maturity.

If it is a male dog this is pretty normal (from his penis), mine get a discharge too. But if its a lot or has a smell/odour to it then I would definately take him in to the vet.

ttfn :)
