Topic Dog Boards / General / Question about buying 2 Male yorkie pups
- By Tammy [us] Date 24.06.03 00:59 UTC
I have someone interested in purchasing 2 puppies from me. He would like to buy 2 males. They are tiny yorkies. I want to help him, but want to make sure that this would work for him. Does anyone have any input on the subject? He is having a hrad time choosing and would like to get 2! UI have only males, so....
Thanks so much for any help or info you can give!

NO!

Even though these are tiny little dogs they are ALL dog as im sure you know. Two males growing up together, egging each other on in puppy hood to wreck things etc, then the possible conflict that comes when they begin to mature, hmmmmmmmmm, nope, i wouldnt let someone do it if i had that choice, nor would i want to own two terrier litter mates.

If the buyer REALLY wants two puppies together, and knows how much more hard work two is than one, then advise him to get a dog and a b itch, rather than two the same. I have to say thought, its still a bad idea, with much greater chances that one of the two will end up being returned.

I have to disagree, my two are litter mates and are not a bit of bother, I think you have to use common sense, has he had dogs before? has he had yorkies? is he at home alot? does he have help? Good luck.
