Our bichon is 5 months old. She's been experiencing soft stools recently. I noticed a few fellow dog owners mentioned this could be from teething. (I know this occured with my children). Has anyone heard of this? Currently she is eating low residue puppy Eukenuba mixed with regular puppy Eukenuba. I can't seem to increase the regular Eukenuba and decrease the low residue food without disrupting her bowels. Any suggestions.

Puppies can get soft stools from teething. However, if you having problems with Eukenuba then perhaps the brand does not agree with your puppy.
It's also possible that your puppy has a low grade tummy bug. Or is mildly allergic to an ingredient in Eukenuba. After I had the puppy checked out at the vet I would switch to one of the foods which are formulated for dogs that are allergic to common dog food ingredients. You do have to mix any new food in very slowly, as your puppy is very sensitive I would gradually introduce an new food over 10-14 days.
I had a GSD that I would become sensitive to any food after a period of time. The cure for her was switching brands every few months - but that is an unusual situation. Eventually when she reached late middle age she was fine on one brand of food.
