You should receive a certificate of ownership - which often comes before the ped. You probably also asked for the Breed Record Supplement This will come to you in the future where you will see the puppies registered of your breed for a three month period - you'll find your puppy amongst them and also the transfer to you:D and others of the group of dog you have, eg Gundog, Hound etc This can take months depending when your puppy was born.

In a case like this the Breed Record Supplement sent is normaly the one listing the change of ownership so this could well take 6 months or more before you will see it! (Good things are always worth waiting for!)

I have received my Five Generation Pedigree Certificate and wondered if anyone can help to explain what the following abbreviations stand for IR FT CH and FT CH stands for.

FT CH means Field Trial Champion ..I assume that IR stands for Irish

I'm just about to register my new puppy to, so I have the document in front of me, ok for £30 you get:-
Registration of Transfer of Ownership plus Enhanced 5 Generation Pedigree Plus Breed Records Supplement
Edit: Whoops sorry looks like somebody has already answered
