Can anyone suggest a herbicide for killing docks, that will not harm grass? Thought there might be a groundsman out there amongst you good folks! Doesnt matter if its COSH regulated as we have agricultural operators licence.

Taffo, thanks, I will look into those two options. Re the licence....the chap who does our spraying (we have no arable, so do vitually none) tells me that some products can only be used by COSH approved or trained operators...& he is one of those apparently! :)
Maybe thats why he charges so much! Mind you its not a job I would relish.

You can spray on your own land or any thats farmed by you without a licence, but as you say not a nice job but a lot cheaper than contractor.
